Viewing the Document Type Detail Record

The Document Type Detail is always the first information displayed when entering the Document Type record. The Document Type Detail is displayed whenever the user selects the Type from the Document Type list. The document type tree is located to the left of the Document Type Detail and contains all other information regarding the document type.

1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab at the top of the window.
2. In the Document Management section of the list, select Find > Document Type.
   Result: The Document Types list window is displayed.
3. Click the Type link of the document type to be viewed.
   Result: The Document Type Detail record is displayed. See Creating Document Types for additional information about the fields on the detail record.
